Nothing good in life comes without hard work

Life is hard. Hard word is nothing but hard work. To me, hard work is the best for one to conquer life. Life is hard so it needs some element of work that is very hard to make it easy.

People have constantly relegated the importance of hard work. They will way say, it is better to work smart than to work hard. I don’t dispute the importance of working smart and am not here to compare the two. Such topic has been thoroughly dealt with in our maiden edition of “The Pathfinders Magazine”, you can click this link to learn everything about hard work and smart work by getting your copy, just  here

People who are lazy tend to hide under the shadows of smart work. They call themselves, smart ass workers. Check their bank account balance and you will feel nothing but pity for them. Hard work is the most single result in getting things done. Life will automatically reward you for your hard work and not for trying to lazy around in the guise of working smart. As I said, I also prefer to work smart due to the fact that hard work can sometimes be tiring. Smart work in itself is very recommendable, depending on the field you are involved in.

Why do the likes of Dangote work so hard and not so smart? Most Billionaires work hard. They have never reduced the importance of hard work in the slightest. They will always say It, that hard work is one of the major ingredients for success.

Vince Lombardi said, “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand”.

They have always attributed their success to hard work noting all the time that hard work has taken them to the pinnacle of success where nothing else could have taken them. Read some of the quotes below.

Focused, hard work is the real key to success. Keep your eyes on the goal, and just keep taking the next step towards completing it. If you aren’t sure which way to do something, do it both ways and see which works better. John Carmack

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.  ~Colin Powell

Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe. ~Gail Devers

Through hard work, perseverance and a faith in God, you can live your dreams. ~Benjamin Carson

Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds.  ~Gordon B. Hinckley

Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don’t turn up at all.  ~Sam Ewing

There is no substitute for hard work.   ~Thomas A. Edison

All life demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life. The very striving and hard work that we so constantly try to avoid is the major building block in the person we are today.  ~Pope Paul VI

Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don’t recognize them.  ~Ann Landers

A lot of people think that hard work is nothing but struggle. They refused to struggle as they also term it stress. Let’s make something clear here. Struggle as you see it is the one thing that brings progress. Whether you succeed or fail, one of these two things will happen, you either advance or learn from it. Be thankful, however, if you succeed. On the other hand, if you learn from it, it is a reminder that mistakes are proof that you are trying something. It shows you are working on your personal and business growth.

You need to do something to grow. If you don’t exert and amass yourself in hard work, there is no guarantee that you will grow and certainly, nothing will come to you. You will get no reward. Life moves and grows. It is not stagnant and does not wait, so doing something now, might seem like you’re in the face of an unbeatable adversary, it is still better than doing nothing. If it’s worth doing, then it should never be easy.

You can’t base your success on anything except hard work. Even God worked really hard. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have taken out a whole day for rest. God encourages hard work. Hard work can really be deceitful, you might think it would kill you by the time you look at it. All my years as human, I have never witnessed where hard work maimed anyone. What it does is, it makes you stronger.

Whether it is relationships, money, or whatever form of success, it could be for self-confidence, everyone wants success. That success can and will eventually come to you if you believe, but if it’s truly worth it, it will never come easy.  Luck and circumstance are wonderful, but rarely to be thankful for success, in the place of hard work.

Don’t be foolish enough to think that you can visualise whatever you want without any form of action. Law of attraction might be real but it needs hard work to make it manifest. However, I saw this somewhere that “action is a must in the “attr-action”. If your energy is a powerful driving force, don’t forget that it is you who drive that force.

If you do not challenge yourself and make mistakes, you can not create the opportunities to put positive momentum, growth and success into place in your life or business endeavour. Hard work is the bedrock of success.
